The Sacred Feminine and Societies of Peace In my premier Divine CEO article in the January edition, I shared the way in which the sacred feminine came into my life. I shared with you that I did not like the word, Goddess when it first crossed my path. This resistance to feminine pronouns for the divine caused me to want to uncover why I felt so resistant. After all, I could use the term God, and feel that it conveyed the Loving Creator, the Energy Behind All Things. I didn’t imagine Michelangelo’s white, white bearded patriarch, rather the Love in and Of All Things. Yet, Goddess caused a hiccup for me. I didn’t like that it brought gender into the matter. But I wondered, Why does this term not sit well with me? I knew somehow that I would benefit from examining that resistance. And indeed I have, as I described in my first article. Dale Allen The Sacred Feminine is a Part of All of Us I am passionate about sharing the image, essence and energy of the sacred feminine. Having presented this material to thousands of men and women at universities, conferences, corporations, expos, places of worship and theaters across the US, Canada, from Kauai to Dubai, to the Parliament of the World’s Religions, and twice to the UN Commission on the Status of Women, I have humbly witnessed its healing effect. When I share the sacred feminine, I do so not to present a religion or spiritual practice, but to bring vitality and healing to the feminine in all of us humans. We are all a blend of masculine and feminine, but the feminine has been subjugated for so long, and this has harmed women, as well as men – it harms us all. Of course, in our world, we see gender imbalance – patriarchy. We see the lower, too often perilous position of women and girls. Yet we are all on a journey together – the journey of evolution - and a return to the balance that is our birthright. In the articles that I will provide for you over the course of year ahead, I will take you on this journey of evolution. We will look at, and experience, the sacred feminine with respect to whatever faith or spiritual practice you follow, including agnostic or atheist. In fact, no matter which of these is your personal pathway, you will benefit from this material, as we are all affected by the world’s dominant model of a male supreme deity. Going on this journey can deepen the practice of your faith or religion, because you’ll come to it more whole than you have ever been.
