Dale Allen and Shellie Enteen talk about "Revealing the Druid Legacy," Shellie's inspired memoir of a Druid Priestess. The trilogy of books tells the story of Anwen, a Druid Priestess in late 5th Century Wales. All three books dive deep into the Celtic Dark Age, portraying the period including Anwen’s training on the Priestess Isle and how she, together with Merlin, Arthur and her Lady Sister Priestesses put the final pieces in place for the Druid’s secret plan to preserve their wisdom for future generations. Anwen’s story empowers us as individuals and aids in the much-needed return to honoring the Divine Feminine.
~ From Dale: Shellie's telling of her path toward this work is a great example of how we can look for clues along the way in life that take us out of the mundane and into the realm of the Sacred. It is a pleasure to support this fellow author. Enjoy! ~ Shellie Enteen is an Author, Astrologer, Interfaith Reverend, Aromatherapist, Educator, Reiki Master, and Public Speaker. I am so pleased to celebrate Deborah Koff-Chapin and her 50 years of Touch Drawing! Deborah’s profound art has been with me and “In Our Right Minds” all along, first featured in my one-woman touring show, then in the film, and now my new book on Amazon. Deborah’s soulful touch drawings convey the beauty and strength of feminine energy – it is otherworldly, and yet grounded by body and hand.
~ Since 1974, Deborah has poured her soul into Touch Drawing. Over the years her work developed from simple primal marks to evocative transpersonal images. In 1995 and 2000, she published a selection of drawings as “Soul Cards 1 & 2.” They continue to be used worldwide by a broad range of people including therapists, workshop leaders and creative writers. “Portals of Presence: Faces Drawn from the Subtle Realms” was released in 2021. In private sessions, Deborah creates “Inner Portraits” that bring into form many dimensions of an individual’s soul. She has also developed the art of Interpretive Touch Drawing at numerous events including the Parliament of the World’s Religions. ~ Deborah and I recently met to discuss her 50 Year Celebration and our journey together. The girls and women must go to the lake to get food for themselves and their families. There, they are vulnerable, as the fisherman deal in fish for sex. Evans Nyesi is effectively changing this dynamic - freeing the women and the men from hazardous and hurtful paradigms.
~ Evans Onyango Nyesi is is the founder and Team Leader of The Tikvah Center, a registered faith-based community organization in Siaya-Kenya, dedicated to holistic development and community empowerment. ~ Through his diverse roles and expertise, Evans Onyango Nyesi actively contributes to advancing sustainable development, human rights, and the vital role of faith-based initiatives in addressing societal challenges. |

~ Dear Dale, I hope the year is going on well with you so far... I was greatly thrilled by your perspectives on the healing energy of the sacred feminine during the Omnia's Patriarchy meeting late last year. ~ One way of making sure the year continues to go well is by working more on detoxifying masculinity and transforming men to have a healthy masculinity that enhances the flourishing women and girls. This is one of our key activities line up for 2024 and into the future. ~ I am very worried about scriptural interpretations and cultural norms that legitimizes oppression and cages people into delusional boxes. I know you are too. The ease with which our religious and traditional leaders endorse marginalizing norms results in the horrific stigma, and women and girls bear the greatest brunt. ~ While some argue that all religions have been flawed from the very beginning, I hold the view that some people have managed to twist the doctrines, using religion for their own advantage throughout history. ~ This is evident in the interplay among patriarchy, gender and religion where it has confined gender roles and upheld specific gender expectations. But i also know that religion has historically contributed to psychosocial support as a meaningful source of values and practices critical to healing and well-being. Such insights shed light on the ways religious doctrines and rituals can offer avenues for gender expression and authentic healthy living, ~ As The Tikvah Centre, we wanted to find a way to shift this mindset so that our community and religious leaders would prioritize just and non-stigmatizing solutions to the pain caused by dis-empowering teachings by cultural and religious fundamentalists. ~ I am passionate about this work because I would like to create for my two children and millions of others a better world to live and thrive. Research has proved that embracing equity and justice, will unlock the full potential of half the population, leading to greater innovation, economic growth, and social progress. ~ Recognizing the precious space occupied by religion and religious leaders in Kenya as well as the potential for progress and/or regress in scriptural (mis)interpretations, I am convinced that integrating religion in championing gender equality and women's empowerment, reproductive health justice and climate action (which has a huge impact on women and girls) would go a long way in building a more sustainable, inclusive, just, and prosperous world for all. "Dale, I absolutely love this podcast with Mare! You are doing such pure, beautiful work. Thank you so much! The podcast with her was just absolutely brilliant and beautiful, and so many things that I know in my soul that are happening, and feel and am connected to, and always have been. It's so reassuring and validating to listen to something like this and have words put to what I know and what I came here knowing and what I also know is part of my mission on this earth to support and share. I just I feel it. The way that you presented her with groundedness, respect, clarification, confirmation and intelligence really showcases everything she has to share in a way that I think people can hear. Thank you Dale "

Let Your Voice Be Heard • Let Your Heart Be Inspired!
I was honored to be a part of a special project for the Parliament of the World’s Religions Women's Task Force: conducting interviews inside the first-ever Women's Village. I had been on a team of stellar women who met over the course of nearly a year in online meetings, planning the Women's Village. It was a very special endeavor and our efforts produced a beautiful, calming, nurturing, sacred and inspiring space. I set up a warm and welcoming Interview Suite inside the Women’s Village. The invitation put forth at the Interview Suite was: Let Your Voice be Heard! In total, I interviewed 71 women and I will share all of them. Among these interviews, you will meet the women who co-created the Women’s Village. To start, I have created this montage to provide an introduction to the project with portions of a few of the interviews. On a weekly basis over the weeks ahead, I will release all of the interviews in full, in order to fulfill the promise of letting the women's voices be heard. I was truly fortunate to sit with women as they spoke so profoundly from their hearts about their faith-in-action toward the Parliament's themes of: a call to conscience, the support of the human rights and dignity of women, and the care of the next generations of children (which, of course includes care of our earth). This series of interviews gave me a sense of peace and reassurance. The women are activated, and their love cannot be stopped. And I believe that you will find, as I did, that listening to women speak from their fierce hearts, empowers us as women to find our own voices and to take action from our hearts as well. Healing Ancestral Wounds & the Power of Sacred Circle
Healing Ancestral Wounds & the Power of Sacred Circle
What impact does women’s history have on you today – probably more impact than you realize. On International Women’s Day, an online film screening and panel event featuring Dale Allen, Marilyn Rosenbrock, Dr. Susan Smith, Caryn MacGrandle and Dionne Ruff-Sloan drew a large audience. We explored two themes presented in Dale Allen’s film, “In Our Right Minds” - healing ancestral wounds and the importance of the community of women in sacred circle. In our event, after screening “In Our Right Minds,” we explored some of its themes, which are shared in this podcast. Marilyn Rosenbrock Nyborg, author of "A Woman's Guide to Sacred Activism" presents her wisdom on the power of understanding HERstory as differs from HIStory as we claim our power today. Dr. Susan Smith, guides us in healing ancestral wounds. Caryn MacGrandle, Founder of the Divine Feminine App discusses the value of sacred circles, and how to host your own. Dionne Ruff-Sloan brought her brilliance to us by helping us move energy from ancestral wounding to the embodiment of the strength and freedom of the divine feminine using dance and movement. Dionne is a brilliant movement facilitator who takes us beyond the initial resistance we may feel and leads us toward open, flowing energy! Because audio does not capture her dance facilitation well, I will produce a separate podcast to share beautiful Dionne in an interview. Also, I will be sharing our video event on YouTube - stay tuned! |

Sunflower Birthing Circles - Safe Birthing for Ukrainian Women in Poland
Sunflower Birthing Circles - Safe Birthing for Ukrainian Women in Poland
You can help establish safe birthing centers for Ukrainian women. Sunflower Birthing Circles. We are grassroots women from around the world, shocked and shaken by the genocide and ecocide, in Ukraine. We saw the image of the pregnant woman on a stretcher coming out of the bombed maternity hospital, in Mariupol where 20,000 civilians at least have died, and hundreds of children have died. We saw Marcus Yam’s images of the women in the basements of Kharkiv, going without adequate food, water and medical care for weeks. We watched the images feeling powerless. But then... a seed, a spark, a dream... seemed to touch us all simultaneously. FEEL, THINK, DO. Like a river of birds in migration, we were moved to come together in circle one night on Zoom in early March, and share with tears of grief and rage that, which was breaking our hearts. As our hearts opened with compassion, we invited each one to think together creatively about possible ways to collectively act on behalf of our sisters there, especially the late term pregnant ones in dire living situations. Then we all began a miraculous whirl of community development and organizing, meeting and developing relationships with birthworkers across Poland who were touched by Varvara’s writing, Asiya’s thoughtful planning, and Nadiia's sensitivity in working with women coming from her hometown of war-struck Kharkiv and her desire to bring others out of danger. On Creativity
On Creativity
Creativity is yours and the world needs your unique offerings of love!
Dale Allen and Leah Myers met in the Green Tent Circle, which is an open organization and resource for women to come into sacred circle with a devotion to each other and the Earth. Many dynamic and talented women join the online circle, and many in-person circles meet around the globe. This podcast episode is from an interview that Leah did with Dale, and focuses on creativity. More Green Tent episodes will follow on The Core, highlighting the gifts, talents and offerings of the women. Leah's beautiful artwork appears in Dale's film, "In Our Right Minds - Guiding Women to the Strength as Leaders, Leading Men to Strength Without Armor." Leah's Website: http://leahspeace.weebly.com GreenTentCircle.com |
Green Tent Circle came about when Angela Weber from Salvador, Brazil, and Ann Smith from Naples, Florida, came together with an email from Angela. They have been friends and colleagues since they were instrumental in holding the highly successful Anglican Encounter, Churches in Solidarity with Women. This first ever and only worldwide gathering by women about women’s issues for the Anglican Communion was held in Salvador, Brazil, in 1992. It was planned and carried out by representatives from Brazil, Latin America, Central America, Caribbean, Indigenous, United States and Canada. Women
and men from around the world attended. It also was revolutionary in that it truly represented grassroots women voices and stories, and a circle process with small groups where every voice was heard for reflection and sharing. Bishops, archbishops and many others realized for the first time the seriousness of violence against women when the bishop’s wife from Honduras, Diana Frade, talked about how her first husband beat her so badly that she was unrecognizable. Indigenous woman from Brazil talked about their lives being in danger because of corporations and governments wanting their land. |

The Selkie |
This episode tells the story of the Selkie to help you restore you to your wholeness, your SoulSelf. It is a version I wrote as part of my one-woman show, "In Our Right Minds." I have brought this story to life hundreds of times and yet every time I tell it, it’s as if I am experiencing it for the first time. The energy that is channeled by this piece is profound, powerful and healing every time.
I have found many versions of this story, mostly in folk story compilations and children’s books and in a wonderful film, The Secret of Roan Inish. Clarissa Pinkola Estes tells a version in her book, Women Who Run with the Wolves. I have brought this story to life hundreds of times and yet every time I tell it, it’s as if I am experiencing it for the first time. The energy that is channeled by this piece is profound, powerful and healing every time. May your sealskin be restored. May you exercise your creative, intuitive, heart-centered intelligence. May you speak and act with clarity – from your Core - in your home, your relationships, your work, your community, your faith, your school, your participation in government. May you come from your own authenticity, your own divine spark – and as we all do this – holding an unwavering vision of a world in balance – we will create a balanced world together. |

"This episode with Dale Allen is rich with storytelling and so many incredible insights about what's ailing the world, and how we can remember the feminine as part of our collective healing. • Why does the term GODDESS make some of us uncomfortable? • What is our core wound, and why do we all have one? • How can archetypes help us to heal? • How can we listen for the GODDESS CALLING? • Why now? Why is the feminine the missing piece for what ails us as humans/society? • Why a BREAKDOWN is needed for a BREAKTHROUGH. • Why reclaiming emotion is a critical piece of our inner peace. " |

Episode 2
The Crone |
Cozy up for an audio journey to a winter landscape and a visit to a cave deep beneath the snows. There, an ancient yet ageless woman dwells. She is the Crone, or WiseWoman. In order to truly access your inner Power, Passion and Purpose, this archetype cannot be missed - she holds the seed to our creativity and renewal. She belongs to all of us: men, women – all genders. The archetypes are without boundary – like dreams and imagination – they don’t belong to solely one group or gender. The Crone has existed in us since the day we were born. She’s so powerful! She is a Keeper of Wisdom and reminds us that life is a series of "deaths." Life is a progression of disappearances... you build it, you structure it, you count on it, you think you’ve arrived somewhere - and then you realize the process starts again. But, there are certain threads that remain, threads that connect to our Inner Core, which is constant and timeless.

"Dale I was able to listen to your podcast. You have an incredible voice - calming, soothing, so perfect - what a great story, reflection, perspective! It almost read like a book - the imagery you created... And of course, I had the perfect day to listen: quiet, snow, peace in winter... perfect to reflect on new beginnings and the inevitable Spring. I want to figure out how to get all of your podcasts. I feel like a kid looking forward to a really good bedtime story!" Nancy Pierce Chapin
Episode 4
Gaia - Mother Earth |
My joyful offering in Episode 4 is to speak as Mother Earth, as the Goddess Gaia.
Gaia appears in Greek mythology. She created herself out of primordial chaos. It was from a Gaia that all earth life came to be, and all things return to her as well. This archetype is part of the collective unconscious, and appears in all original cultures around the earth. In these transformational times that we all share, connecting with nature can be very, very healing. I had the privilege to record a podcast for Yale University about the work of Stephen Kellert and Biophilia. Biophilia is the theory that people possess an inherent affinity for nature. Studies have revealed that this inclination continues to be a vital component of human health and well-being. Humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life. And so, I invite you to use the power of your human imagination, and listen as the Goddess Gaia, as the Earth herself, speaks to you. |
"Dale, your voice serves as a conduit merging knowledge and discovery! This week’s podcast was a rejuvenating elixir, inviting each listener to slow down, observe and integrate the fantastic, alchemical and legacy laden relationship we each have to the earth, history, nature, flesh, air, roots and more. Thank you for being so passionate — and compassionate — and in offering yourself as a translator for us, for all that is good and wise!" Deirdre McCloud

gOddessy - Journey to the Goddess Archetype
|
When I first encountered the word Goddess, I didn't like it. It felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. I decided to go headlong into working with this archetype. I began to study the sacred feminine – the work of anthropologists, psychologists, archeologists, feminist scholars, poets and historians. I dove deep. I found the experience personally transformative and so, created a presentation, "In Our Right Minds, Guiding Women to the Strength as Leaders, Leading Men to Strength Without Armor" and brought it to scores of audiences at universities, conferences, expos, and the UN Commission on the Status of Women. This podcast is an introduction to the Goddess archetype and or a chance to reflect on your own journey to the Goddess, your gOddessy!
